The film Juno is about a girl named Juno, who falls in love with a guy and eventually gets pregnant. Juno makes a brave move, by not having an abortion. The movie actually stirs mixed reactions from her parents, and the couple, who are about to adopt the child. The actress Ellen Page, has done justice to the role, and deserves a pat at the back. Juno's dialogues are delivered with sarcasm and vulgarity. Nonetheless the film already has 2 oscars to its credit.......
Watch American Gangster without preconceived ideas. While the film is long it never drags. You don't get the sense that you've seen this movie before. It's not Serpico. It's not The Wire. It's not The Sopranos. While much is going on, the story is easy to follow. There is action, but this isn't an "action movie".Both Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe act convincingly and give depth to their characters.The film leaves you wanting to know more about what happened to the lead characters. You care about them that much. Now *that's* film making.
