Hancock is new kind of super hero movie. In this movie, Will Smith plays the role of Hancock. Hancock is a super hero who can fly, and can do anything which can be virtually considered as impossible. Hancock tries to help the Los Angeles Police Department, by catching petty thieves, dodging aero planes and by saving estranged on-the-shore whales. Hancock loses his image in the city, and is considered an asshole in the city. Hancock is drunkard, and doesn’t know how to maintain his image, status and iconicity of himself. Jason Bateman (The Island) plays the role of Ray Embrey, a friend of Hancock. Ray helps Hancock, and advises him to be good and nice to everyone in the city and transform him into a super-hero who is liked by all. In one scene, where Ray’s car gets stuck in a railway track, and Ray is unable to move out of the car, our super-hero comes, and throws the car with Ray inside, and head-butts the train. The visual effects of the movie are simply superb.

Charlize Theron plays the role of Mary Embrey, Ray’s wife. When Hancock meets Mary, he realizes that his former wife, Mary, is now his best friend’s wife. Ray comes to know about the relationships between Hancock and his wife, and the rest of the movie is about how Ray takes out his wife’s relationship.
