The movie has Mark Walhberg in the lead role of Max Payne and is directed by John Moore. Max's life have become a hell, when his loving wife and children gets brutally murdered. Max must find the murderer, and avenge his loved ones' death. Max finds about a secretive drug organization which supplies a stamina-enhancing drug to soldiers, which is 1% success project. In most cases, the victim gets hallucinated due to the drug, and starts having demonic visions of a monster with wings. In the process of finding the true murderer, Max loses many of his friends. The rest of the movie is all about how Max finds the mystery behind the secretive drug organization and how he puts the entire organization down and finds the true killer of his wife.
